Silent Auction

Excitement is growing for our upcoming Silent Auction. We already have a
nice start to our list of items to be auctioned — but we can always use more!
With the up coming holidays in mind, here are the types of things we’re hoping to have you and others donate:

  • Thanksgiving
    – themed items: Gift baskets, hostess gifts, etc.
  • Christmas
    – themed items: Christmas baskets, tasteful decorations, and gifts for babies, children and adults. Hand
    – made things would be nice, like afghans, quilts, placemats, scarves, mittens, etc.
  • Donate a mini
    – vacation
    – a day on Lake Minnetonka, a weekend cabin getaway.
  • Or perhaps you’d like to donate your time and services? Handy worker, baby/pet sitter, tree
    – trimmer are examples.
  • You could also donate a gift card to a restaurant, movie or theater event.

The Silent Auction helps us get a jump on the giving season and raise money to reduce our budget deficit. It will a fun day to do both! Please plan to donate items and to attend the auction — and bring friends — extra special snacks and treats will be served that day. If you have any questions, please talk with Helen McEvoy-Freese and/or Carol Birkland.
