“Love your neighbor as yourself,” Jesus said, teaching through his parables that all people are our neighbors.
At Union Congregational, we feel challenged by this tenet of faith and strive to put those words into action. Every month members prepare and serve lunch for visitors to St. Stephen’s. Several weeks every year, members welcome homeless families to live at our church through Families Moving Forward. But perhaps we are best known for our annual Thanksgiving Day Free Store at which we feed and clothe more than 400 men, women and children, many of them homeless. | |
